FREE days at NM Museum of Natural History and Science

Hey guys!!

Monique also brought to my attention today that aside from the Free Summer Fun event held by The Peak this coming Friday, the museum also has it's own free attendance days for NM residents every month.


Free Admission Days

  • The Museum and Sandia Mountain Natural History Center are free to New Mexico residents (with ID) on the first Sunday of every month. (Note: The SMNHC and Museum will be closed January 1st, due to the New Year's Day holiday.)
  • Admission to the Museum is free to all Veterans (with ID) on Veterans Day, November 11th.
(Admission to the Extreme Screen DynaTheater and/or Planetarium venues is by the regular charge.)

Museum Hours and Admission

Please note: The Museum will close early at 4:00 pm to the public  onJune 3, 2012 for a MEMBER EVENT.  Members Open House – Sunday June 3, 2012 4:30pm – 7:00pm.
The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
